How to Run a Race Night
Shown below are a series of boxes to help you maximise the amount of funds raised whilst running a race night. If you follow all of these steps you can raise over £1000.
Simply click each box - Sponsors, Owners, Jockeys, Auction, Tote Betting, Tote Trio forecast, Tri-Cast, and the Dual Forecast - and you will be shown instructions on how to raise money for your chosen charity or organisation. There are two reasons why it is important that you sell them before the event. First of all, if people have committed themsleves by paying money beforehand, they are a lot more likely to attend the race night. Secondly, once they arrive, most people have a limit on how much they are willing to spend, so you are much better off focusing on selling the tote tickets throughout the evening, safe in the knowledge that you have already maximised your profits prior to them arriving.
To help you with running a race night , you can also download a Word document containing all of the horse names.
